A great update on Tippy, a black lab who was adopted by Wendy Greer in June of 2011

I wanted to give you an update on Tippy.  His new name is Desi.  What a sweet boy he is!!  He has been right at home since we walked in the door with him on Friday evening.  Lucy (our coonhound) was thrilled when she saw him.  They get along very good.  Desi totally ignores the cats, so that is great too.  We made a trip to PetSmart and Desi has a new crate and crate pad, a new bed, new bright blue collar and leash, food and water bowls, chew bones and rope toy.  He loves his bed and curls up in it at our feet while watching TV.  He can lay still for HOURS getting belly rubs :) He went with me to work on Saturday morning and Dr. Bailey removed his stitches from his surgery and took the staple out from where they removed his dew claws.  He said Desi looks in really good shape, and he did so good at the visit.  Then he got a bath and his hair dried and brushed out.  He's such a pretty boy! He likes to ride in the car and, in fact, my husband brought him to meet me for lunch in Winchester today so everyone at the office could meet him - he won them over! We are thrilled with Desi, and can't thank you enough!
